Overview
Stewardship Badges gamify responsible hive management by awarding achievements for consistent, healthy beekeeping practices. Earn badges for regular mite monitoring, successful winter survival, harvest milestones, and more.
There are 8 badges to earn: Swarm Catcher (catch a swarm), Mite Hunter (3+ mite washes), Winter Warrior (survive a winter), Shutterbug (5+ photo inspections), Liquid Gold (50+ lbs harvested), Queen Spotter (spot the queen 3 times), Citizen Scientist (5+ mite washes), and Winter Prepper (prepare for winter).
Badges are earned automatically based on your logged data — no self-reporting required. They serve as both motivation for good practices and a visible record of your experience level.
How It Works
Badges are awarded automatically as you use the app.
View your earned and locked badges from the Achievements screen.
Locked badges show hints about what's needed to earn them.
Keep logging inspections, mite washes, and harvests to unlock more.
Tips & Best Practices
